With the general elections approaching fast, the campaign of President Obama is gearing up as it has announced the first two public rallies of the year where both Mr. and Mrs. Obama will give their appearance. According to the campaign officials Barack Obama along with Michele Obama will appear in Ohio, Richmond, and Columbus, V.a. on May 5, Saturday, when the couple will outline the choice the American people will make this fall. Jim Messina, the campaign manager of Obama told reporters on a conference call that the choice will not be just between two people and two parties, it is actually a choice between two distinct records and two distinct visions for the United States.
He said that Mitt Romney, the presumptive GOP candidate wants to go back to the future. Romney thinks that the economy of the company will grow by adopting the same policies which actually caused it to shrink. David Axelrod the senior Obama strategist, said that the debate one election has reached an inflection point, and Democrats will increase attacks on Mitt Romney as a businessman, as the governor of Massachusetts and the co-founder of Bain Capital.
Axelrod said that when one looks into his business record, it is revealed that it was not about job creation but wealth creation. He added that this will not be a one-way discussion. Axelrod said that they are proud of the record of Obama as President and whatever he has done.
